A Good Faith Exam or GFE refers to a medical assessment conducted by a healthcare provider to assess each patient and to help establish a treatment plan tailored to each patient's needs.
The goal is to provide an impartial assessment based on a review of the patient's
medical history, including any underlying health conditions, current medications,
allergies, and recent illnesses. This exam will also consider the symptoms reported by the patient, such as dehydration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or other signs of fluid imbalance to ensure that the patient receives the most suitable IV treatment.
The term "Good Faith" implies that the examination is conducted honestly and in a
sincere attempt to ascertain the true medical status of the individual. It's important for both the healthcare provider and the patient to participate in the process in good faith to ensure a fair and accurate evaluation.
At Revitalize Mobile IV Hydration we conduct a GFE on all potential patients. There is a $30 fee for the assessment and will be collected at the time mobile IV hydration
services are performed.
Please be aware that your payment for the Good Faith Exam (GFE) or Pre-IV Exam is required by Arizona law to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for mobile IV therapy. This exam does not guarantee that the IV service will be provided, as it is designed to assess your eligibility based on your health status. Please note that this is a non-refundable charge, regardless of the outcome of the exam.
